We have recently moved into a new house and after they have used an acid wash to clean the mortar off the bricks it has left a white streaky effect running down the bricks. I am assuming this might have something to do with the mortar? Along with this we have white water spots over a number of windows that will not come off with window cleaner. We are 6 or 7 weeks into our maintenance period and I will bring it up at the 13 week inspection but was wondering if there was an easy fix for this in the meantime? I am assuming that the bricks can be fixed with another wash, but was wondering whether the windows will be ok?
