I have a solar hot water system. I have a leaking solar non return valve at the hot water return pipe and want to replace it. Under AU law, am I allowed to remove existing one and refit new solar non return valve by myself without hiring a tradie ?
The hot water return pipe is between the tank and the solar collector panel.
Plumber.
You stuff that up and it could be very costly to the solar array on your roof. Plus you'll have insurance issues if you try to claim water damage later.
Get a plumber for this one.
