Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Feb 05, 2017 7:37 pm I'm looking into putting down timber decking tiles on my balcony but have a few questions. The first is how do I get them to fit around the metal railing legs? And another is that as you can see the concrete slab is completely straight but angles down and becomes narrower at one end. Will timber decking tiles still be able to accommodate for this? photos are here: http://imgur.com/a/vqowX thanks everyone Re: I want to install timber decking on my small balcony 2Feb 14, 2017 3:18 pm Timber look tiles would look great. Seeing that it's an outdoor area, it would be advisable to get an R11 anti-slip product as they provide more grip especially when it gets wet. You will need an angle grinder with a tile cutting blade to fit the tiles around the railing legs. With regards to tiling an out of square area, it would look better if you lay tiles straight against the house and cut diagonal tiles for the edge. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 1290 First time building 2 storey home in NSW.
