Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Sep 03, 2016 11:18 am Hi all, this is my first post, apologies if it is not in the best spot. My husband and I are currently renovating our home for sale. The back fence (wooden fence pailings) is quite old and run down. It looks to me like it was erected and never painted or sealed. We back on to a storm water drain so it's solely our fence. We need to replace some missing pailings, it's looking pretty patchy. This is obviously going to make the old fence look even worse. Can I paint over a worn wooden fence? I just really want it to look more uniform. Does anyone have any experience with this? It doesn't need to look amazing, just better! Thanks for your help.
