Basically, the slope tends to point towards the house, not away. We've attempted to correct this once before, but it seems like the soil we built up towards the house may just gradually fall under the house anyway - perhaps we didn't build up enough. There isn't much grass cover to speak of, so nothing to hold the soil in place. Unfortunately there's only a couple of inches of soil before it hits real hard clay, so it's difficult to adjust - any advice here? Of course we don't want to build the soil too high against the house either, otherwise too much moisture will trap against the boards. We also want to build a garden alone one length of the house with some hardy, low maintenance plants - is this likely to help, or even hinder? Our plan is to put pebbles along that full side of the house, but there is still some other sections sloping in towards the house that the previous attempts to fix have been unsuccessful. Turf soaks up lots of water. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage. Cleaner Neater Smarter Cheaper Supa Gutter Pumper. Also "properly" is too broad and too subjective a term to be able to pinpoint a single event as not being managed properly.… 1 2729 I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says.
