This leaks along the entire span of the verandah when it pours. In the worst place the fascia rotted and termites got in and ate some stud walls. I want to start by fixing the fascia and then sealing the gap properly. I got the blower and blew from below and leaf bits etc fly out so it's a significant gap the whole way along. Looking on Youtube I've seen all sorts of things but I'm not 100% sure how to go about this. I've seen things like foam backer rod and caulking but not really sure if that's the way to go. You can see in the second pic where I highlighted the spot where leaf etc is coming through. Any advice appreciated! (sheeting stuffed under the roof sheeting) get on the roof undo all the screws along the roofline and remove that white truss that is shown in the second pic up against the blue facia and place a similar sized box gutter in its place sitting on the rafters. The box gutter must have outwards facing lips. Then install that truss back up next to the newly installed box gutter. and install new screws. Then install a line of weatherproofing foam for that profile of sheeting (patio sheeting) between the timber truss and the colorbond sheeting to stop any over spray.
