I want to put a shelf on a wall that has a pocket sliding door - the middle of the 1.2m shelf will have a stud for me to secure the shelf onto, but the left & right ends of the shelf will be into plasterboard and behind it a pocket sliding door. I've drawn a diagram of the cross section:

Basically, anything longer than 30mm will protrude into the cavity too far and scratch the pocket door whenever it opens and closes. The plaster is 10mm and the gap between the frame and the door is around 20mm. All the plasterboard anchors I've seen are longer than 30mm and will scratch the door
Anyone got any ideas on how I can secure the shelf to the wall on the ends that are not resting on a stud?
