I know in our last rental the window pane in the bedroom cracked from one side to the other and I blamed my son for hitting it with a football but the glazier said the builder had not left any expansion room for the window frame. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 8045 Its the flashing and is normal. Some builders cover them up others just leave them handing.
