My Tasmanian Blue Gum which is growing in the backyard of my Adelaide (SA) home is looking very sick. It is losing far more leaves than normal and has bare branches. The leaves are pale, deformed and have nasty looking "growths". Is this a disease, a pest infestation or is the tree just going through a stressed period due to the heatwave.
Will it recover when the rains come or is it past redemption?
Following link is to a photograph of the fallen leaves with their growths.
