Hi,
Just joined the the forum and this is my 1st post.
My wife and I just purchased our 1st home after renting for way too long.
The house we bought was rented for a few years and looks like the roof gutters haven't been cleaned for quite sometime.
At first inspection is looks like the roof tiles are covering most of the gutters which makes access really difficult.
The gutters width is about 15cm but the opening is only about 5cm. It is impossible to even shove a hand in there.
I tried to blast all the leafs with a pressure cleaner, but for every 10 leafs that blows out 8 are coming back. The down pipes are also quite blocked. I purchased a gutter cleaner from the hardware shop. it's like a small rake that can be inserted into the gutter opening and you can push along / scoop the leafs out (very time consuming).
I was told that there is a possibility that the roof tiles should have been trimmed when the house was build or when the gutters were installed. Is that something that can be done now, after everything is installed?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Regards
Ty
