Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Sep 11, 2013 2:11 pm I built a new home a few months ago and just found there is a chipped brick near door of garage. I suspect it was damaged when building the driveway. Builder told me they would not fix it for me as who caused it is unknown. Not sure if it's easy to replace this chipped brick? I'll do landscape soon, a bricklayer can fix it easily? OR If I claim it to insurance company, is it reasonable? OR Convince builder to fix it? Any idea would be much appreciate. Thanks. Whether you do it yourself or employ a brickie or a handyman to do it is up to you. The hardest part is always matching the mortar.
