I have successfully patched up the holes left from the last light fittings but in one room there is a larger area that looks like it has been patched before. It was under the old oyster lights and was only discovered when the lights were removed. It is probably 5cms x 5cm. Am thinking that when the lights were installed originally perhaps someone made a bigger hole and some of the ceiling came away and they have done a body patch job because the light fitting would cover the hole. So what should I do? What can I do? Cheers Oh no! I would use a can of expandable foam ( there are some that will take render) then cut it back and render over the top 1 1658 Thanks for sharing.
