Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Apr 14, 2013 1:36 pm I have recently taken my old split level air conditioner from my house and put it at my mother's house. I've had an electrician/plumber install it onto her house but have noticed after a couple of days that it is leaking oil from a pipe leading into the unit. Now I don't know much about air condition systems and before I call the guy to come around and have a look I want to know if its something that I would be able to fix myself. I also want to ask if there should even be oil leading into the system. Photos are attached below.
