Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Sep 20, 2012 8:59 pm Can anyone tell me what would be the best product to use for brightening up some poorly neglected outdoor wooden furniture (not sure what sort it is, possibly teak/cedar)..A friend mentioned Linseed Oil...however I thought that was something that was used many years ago... I prefer not to varnish as this will then peel and need redoing...some kind of stain/oil would be better I think..but i would hate for a guest to sit on a chair and have greasy/marked clothes... Any suggestions warmly welcomed...
