Does anyone know of a sparkie who does not cost the earth (and associated orbiting masses) for some basic electrical work? I have been quoted between $130 and $200 each for 5 fans to be installed. I have supplied the fans and switches. All bar one a replacment of a fixed batten light. I had a quote of $70 per fan from one guy, but he has broken his leg and is out of action for 3 months. I can't help with knowing someone - my nephew is a sparkie but isn't licenced and decided to go into window cleaning instead.
I hate to think what it will cost to get someone in to swap over our battern lights - considering we were quoted $1000 for the fittings alone! Ray. I've spoken to them and they'll be happy to give you a ball park figure but would need some more info. I've PM'd you their details.
