Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Jul 22, 2012 3:11 pm Hi - I am looking for tips on how to stabilise the sloping soil underneath the back of my highset Queensland. Everytime it rains, more of the clay soil gets washed down and I am concerned that eventually it will weaken the house stumps at the top of the slope. I have seen articles on using soil cement to do slope stabilisation and was wondering if anybody has used this method. If so how was it applied? What was the mixture used? What was done to help drainage? What other solutions have people used to overcome this problem? Must be somewhat common in Queensland. Have been in my house for a couple of years and this year the clay soil seems more mobile than last year on this slope. All suggestions, comments etc will be very welcomed.
