One time in the past the walls seem to be "white washed" with some white plaster like bagging. Over time it has miscoloured in a patched fashion with some areas flakey and dusty. It would be nice to repaint it again, but I am none too keen to taking off the current finish, seal the bricks and paint over...it is just a garage afterall. I was wondering if there some product/system were it seals (bonds) the current finish while giving the walls a new lease of life with the minimum of fuss - preferably in one application. I was thinking a paint / bondcrete mix Cheers Re: Painting Garage Interior 2May 21, 2012 10:06 pm Often internal wall finishes flake off because moisture works it way through from the outside. Consider a clear sealer or paint on the outside first. @builderforlife Building inspector and passionate about construction When you need an expert to take a look.
