Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Feb 22, 2012 6:55 pm I have a water problem under a house which is split level. Water is building up under the rear of house in area which is high off the ground and right near a doorway. The house is 2 stories high above that. I am considering installing ag pipe under the house and running it through the lawn to a pit and then into a drain pipe some 3 meters from doorway. Here are the problems 1. there is a sewer pipe on top of the ground which has concrete under it to depth of about 10 cm. 2. the doorway is to ground level , but under that is concrete, no doubt part of the foundations. The level between the bottom of the sewer pipe, before its concrete mounting and the concrete at the doorway is about 5cm. Thinking of running the ag pipe to just before the sewer pipe, then 50 or 70mm pipe with elbows under that pipe, but the level difference is then a problem. Can a chanel be cut into the concrete to depth of 4cm to alow the 50 or 70mm pipe to get outside the house. Would it be ok for the ag pipe to start about 30cm below ground level then come up to 5 or 10 cm below (there is sufficient slope) then join to regular pipe to go under the sewer pipe or does anyone have other suggestions please Aussiebob123 Need more photos from around the house including your gutters.
