Re: Fencing - boundary dispute 3Dec 29, 2011 5:06 pm Do you have a dispute about the boundary location or the condition of the fence? If it's about the location, a land surveyor would be able to identify the exact location of the boundary. Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: Fencing - boundary dispute 4Dec 30, 2011 4:19 pm Find out from your local council whether you need the neighbour's permission to take down the fence. If not, and you have the correct location of your boundary, you can merely remove the existing and build new. Just remember to stay on your side of the boundary line with all construction, including foundations etc. Easiest will be, as Casa 2 rightfully said, get a land surveyor. Then you can try a joint venture with the neighbour and maybe share costs. It contains all the do's and dont's and copies of all the relevant forms, which (according to the Council) you MUST serve on your neighbor. In the event of problems later with any disagreement or paying etc, without the paperwork you will get laughed out of Court and it could prove to be an expensive exercise. Ive been there and done that and it works! Arfur yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5331 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 16291 You should be able to encase the sewer but you will need it designed and approved and access to lot 580 to do the work 2 17168 |
