Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Dec 21, 2011 3:50 pm Hi All, I had a building inspection done on my house, and apparently the internal walls are all horse hair plaster. I would like to hang a clock on the wall, however it is made of glass and is at least 2-3Kgs. Without being able to find studs etc in the wall, how else can I hang the clock? I have tried the heavier sticky hooks, only to find they fall very easily and very quickly. Any help would be great thanks Re: Hanging clock on Horse Hair plaster wall 2Dec 21, 2011 4:40 pm Use the nail-type hooks? http://homerepair.about.com/od/interior ... ning_3.htm Arfur Re: Hanging clock on Horse Hair plaster wall 3Dec 22, 2011 9:35 am Uncle Arfur Use the nail-type hooks? http://homerepair.about.com/od/interior ... ning_3.htm They look Ok, however Im hesitant to try if Im not sure they will last with my plaster type...
