Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Oct 19, 2011 9:13 am Hi I have a 1958 solid brick house which I have just started to renovate. All the interior walls are covered in wallpaper, and the first job is to remove the wallpaper in the main bedroom. After doing this, the condition of the walls are ok except for some very minor hairline crazing or cracking in the plaster surface. Wondering if I need to repair this, which will take a considerable amount of time, or will priming and painting fill in the hairline cracks anyway? If so, what is the best product(s) and technique for doing this, as there seems to be a myriad of fillers out there? If you are in doubt why not pick the worst wall and test paint an area after thoroughly cleaning all wallpaper adhesive off?
