I ahve recently removed some asbestos sheets from my garage. They were used as as internal roofing. I wore all the protective clothing (disposable suit/ P2 rated mask) and followed all other protocols as per the Aus govt site, making sure that everything was drenched with water. Once finished, I hosed out the entire garage. Anyway, I was speaking to a guy who removes it for a profession and he said that what I had done was fine, but if I wanted to go the extra mile (and I do) that I could spray bondcrete on the timber that the sheets were attached too so ensure any loose fibres are stuck. My question is, which (Bondall?) product should I use for this purpose? Cheers. What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength. I has no Asbestos in it.
