We are are unsure of the size of the concrete footing (if needed?), if we need concrete piers with reinforcement and the type of core-fill needed. We are building on reactive clay so we would like to get it right, our council regs are if its over 1000mm we will need council approval and engineering so we will save that added cost and headache. We have researched about drainage and backfill, etc. but not sure about the footing, core-fill, reinforcement bar (size, tie down?) Manafacturer states "Maximum non reinforced height 800mm+Cap (4 Courses)" Block size is 400mm Long, 200mm High, 215mm Wide Any help appreciated Sunshine there is a standard besser block wall pdf somewhere online with footing sizes, also have a look at dincel. 1 3602 Thank you again Simeon..
