Laundry renovation on tight budget

Our laundry is outside the main house and 3 of the walls are bare brick. We want to cover the brick using the most cost effective method we can find that we can do ourselves. We will be selling the house in the near future and are just doing some things up to increase the value. Painting the bricks is not an option as this looks cheap and tacky. Can anyone please help?

There are types of paint on the market now which give a finish similar to a rendered wall.
Alternatively you could sheet the walls and tile etc.

Sounds like plastering or rendering is the way to go.

I would probably render it myself quickly and then paint over the top.

Just because this way I can go easily around the sink. I wouldn’t know how to do it with plaster without removing the sink.

Check out hte render paint - but I have been told by a gy at pwrk that don't beleive the instructions - it does not roller on like they say it will - it's a trowel job.
