It is itermittently switching itself on and off when there no demand for the water (ie the toilet has not been flushed). We've noticed this mainly at night and it's driving us nuts. Any suggestions of what causing the problem would be appreciated. Many thanks Flew Re: Dav%y pumps for the toilets keeps going on it's own 2Feb 09, 2011 6:44 pm U could need a new pressure switch for the pump? Otherwise u may have a leak Re: Dav%y pumps for the toilets keeps going on it's own 3Feb 16, 2011 3:44 pm pressure pumps i have found cause cisterns to let water pass due to the pressure. check the pressure switch or even put a pressure limiting valve on the line to suit manufactor specs Get some long brass machine screws and bolt right through the gate and put brass acorn nuts and washers on the other side.
