Hope this is in an appropriate section...
Just bought my first property which we are living in now.
Aluminium clad with interior fibro walls...I want to paint inside, starting with the rear bath/laundy which is blue
Im a bit of a novice, I think I know the procedure of
scrape peeling paint,
sand,
fill -cracks holes,
clean
then prep and/or paint
Correct?
my questions more on the removal of old paint, the curved bit between the walls and ceiling looks tricky to scrape, I dont wanna gouge it with my scraper, is there a solution im missing?
Also sanding smooth from peeled to adhered paint, just hand sanding sufficient or should I get an orbital sander?
I imagine the latter is probably the wrong option.
Any other tips/pointers would be helpful thanks.
