Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Sep 14, 2010 10:52 am I have an Absco kit shed which was professionally erected on a concrete slab a couple of years ago. It fills up with water in heavy rain. The roof does not leak so as far as I can tell, the water is entering at the bottom where the steel panels meet the slab. The slab is a couple of inches above the ground level and the location drains well, so it seems that water running down the sides of the shed is somehow entering. I tried filling the little spaces between the wall panels and the metal track they sit in with expanda foam on one wall - messy and ineffective. I then tried siliconing around the inside of the shed where the metal track sits on the concrete - also ineffective. Any ideas? Re: Leaking garden shed 2Sep 14, 2010 12:46 pm It seems the water is running down the cladding into the bottom channel, filling it then overflowing inside. Have you tried drilling a few small drainage holes near the bottom of the channel on the outside? Inadequately silicone sealing where the channel meets the slab is usually where water enters.
