Termites cannot eat brick or concrete, so your walls and floor are safe but can eat anything else that has cellulose, wool carpets, skirtings, joinery, furniture,plasterboard paper, window reveals. If termites can get up into your roof (and they can in the cavity) they can eat timber members.
Termite protection is required to protect structural elements of your home but a double brick home is a much lower risk than brick veneer.
