Our rear extension is very modern/stylish so I want to avoid the cheapy white plastic style door. However after much searching the most tasteful I can find are the aluminium doors, which aren't bad. Can anybody recommend a particular manufacturer or style? The main problem is that one door will be situated smack bang in the centre of my new living area so in full view (can't move anywhere else btw) so would ideally blend into its surrounds. Thanks ! This is the one i have and it's great, it only took 3 or 4 goes to get our first puppy in and out and the 2nd one just followed. On the site they have a good guide for selecting the right size door... you measure the doorway, then the dogs height and width. They show the rise heights for each door - that is the length of your dogs legs. You can get higher or lower rise doors made for an extra cost. They're detailed there too. http://www.piginmud.com.au/joomla/dog-p ... oor-2.html Then all you need to do is pick a colour! Not sure where you are, but I know my local pet stock keeps a few of the common sizes in stock. Makes it a bit easier when you can actually see it for yourself too. Bunnings also do it as a special order. Hope this helps. Re: Dog Door recommendations? 3Sep 11, 2010 10:06 am Sargie Hey all. Install two doors, one on the external laundry door and another on the internal laundry door, in winter you can lock the internal door allowing your puppy relief from the cold, not only does it minimise drafts entering your home, but it wont be such an eyesore. Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days?
