Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 25, 2010 12:40 pm We had a water heater issue awhile back and it ended up us having to turn the water heater up to its top temperature setting for us to have even a little hot water to come out of our pipes. The repair man came and fixed the broken part with the heater and then left. We still couldnt get hot water so we turned it all the way up again and the hot water came back. We have kept it like that for about month now and now its a scorcher in my house for some reason. No furnace is turned on and we have fans and air conditioners going on full blast none stop but it still will not cool down in my house. It is miserable and its too the point that its hotter in the house than it is outside. There is no A/C built into the house at all, we just have ones we installed throughout the house along with a few fans.
