Then the drought came and all was well until it rained again. I touched the ceiling to see if it felt damp and poked my finger through it. I got a roof tiler in to fix one part of the ridge capping. I haven't fixed the ceiling as yet and want to know if I can test the roof first. How would you do this? Do I have to sit in the roof next time it rains? I know a friend got her roof fixed only to divert the leak to another area of her ceiling. There is water getting into the ceiling, I expected to find some holes in the corrugated roof but there weren't any so I suspect that the roof drip edge is letting water… 0 2062 Painting your colorbond roof with a rust inhibitor can definitely help extend its life and prevent rust.
