We are in the process of building built in wardrobes in our old 1940's house and the walls are currenlty horse hair plaster with picture rails etc.
We want to replace the horse hair plaster walls as they are starting to get a ripped afefct and you can see the grain of the horse hair through the paint. Woudl you recommend simply nailing the new plasterboard over the top or should we rip it all out and start from scratch?
