Hi All,
Our house has tiled floors throughout. It's now almost 2 years since we moved in and we've decided that before next Winter we want to put carpet in the 3 bedrooms and Lounge to increase the comfort a little more and reduce the energy consumption on heating.
Questions/problems:
1. Do we need to remove the floor tiles before carpet can be put down?
2. The lounge room has tile skirtings. Instead of the usual timber they've gone and stuck 100mm tile edging around the bottom of the walls. How can we remove this and replace with timber, without having to replaster the entire room?
Looking forward to your solutions/ideas and suggestions.
Many thanks
