We had quotes from 2 different people, we needed 3 installed, along with a new circuit and some safety switches. We found the cheapest was $390, the most expensive was $800. The electrician at $390 actually made the time on the day he quoted to do the job, the other at $800 was needing 3 week lead time. I'm still amazed at the price differences and the time frames. Each point is about $30, plus cable run, plus labour / call out. If you can, try and get them as close to the current points as possible as this will mean easier install (power points are piggybacked off one another) - that is, unless you only have one circuit, or the circuits in place are already overloaded.
