(bought off the plan) Re: dark roof + birds = eww ... suggestions? 2Aug 12, 2009 11:05 am Try the rubber snakes on the roof. We did this in our old house because the birds were pooing on our cars. It worked for us. We got ours from Thomastown market for a couple of dollars each. There's a lady there that sells cleaning products and the snakes are in a box on the ground. Re: dark roof + birds = eww ... suggestions? 3Aug 12, 2009 12:11 pm My friend's mum uses the fake snakes in her garden and swears by them. I haven't seen any birds around either. Would you believe she lives in Thomastown? I wonder if she got them from the market too. Contracted completion date 24 July 2010. What's today's date????? They have CD's hanging from string on their clothes line and around their patio, these birds just keep going in their backyard and on the roof....I'm gonna get me a fake snake just in case, thanks for the tip.
