Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Dec 23, 2008 12:03 pm My wall was previously painted yellow and dark blue (top-half = yellow and bottom-half = blue) using Solver mid-sheen washable acrylic paint.
My wife wanted to paint the walls in a shade of white and as such, people has suggested I use an undercoat. I decided to use a Solver Low VOC undercoat due to my wife being allergic to the fumes. She and I will be the one doing the painting. I was looking at the wall and it seems the undercoat is "cracking" (something like http://www.rcdnet.org/Documents/Drought ... %20Pix.jpg) areas previously covered by the blue paint. This doesn't seemed to be happening on the yellow areas. Should I be worried? If yes, what are my options? Thank you very much yes it is possible but watch for noise transmission, decouple as best you can. Maybe wider top and bottom plates with 70mm studs to allow the cabinet to be recessed fully 1 6636 You can wash over existing pavers with 10% solution of water and hydrochloric acid, then wash off. The acid will provide for required bond key with new concrete. 1 36960 0 9809 |
