Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 18, 2024 5:46 pm We have just moved our gym into a new industrial unit. We have had the walls painted around two weeks ago. Overnight, this white residue has come up on a number of the gyprock walls but also on the metal door of the electrical box. It’s only coming up on the darker paint and not on the lighter grey we have used in areas. The lighter grey colour was a Dulux and the darker colour is a Taubmans. Is there damp in the walls? I’m unsure because the metal box and some of the cement pillars are effected by the white discolouration too.
