Did a small re- lay of bricks on a boundary wall.
Within no time, the bricks I re-layed cracked.
Obviously much a rookie here. Very curious as to what would cause this?? The person repairing the wall is the first problem.. but the next one?

You could try again with brick mesh and use some sticky back foam against the wall to leave 10mm expansion.
