We had a building inspection initially and they reported some moisture but they put it down to some poor drainage, as the stomwarer and gutters weren't doing their job and possible underground leakage because of this. 3 years in and we have been told by people in the area that there is natural springs behind us, we have dairy paddocks backed up to our boundary and these are always very wet. Now being under the house quite a bit myself, there appears to be water EVERYWHERE... Water pooling all over the place, I've dug other parts of the property and holes fill up with water infront of your eyes. We have had a plumber dig ag drains around the house, this definitely made a difference, but the foundation is still saturated... Basically I just don't know who to turn to next, what can be done to manage this? I don't think the water is ever going anywhere, so maybe there is something we can do to just live with it.
