Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 09, 2021 11:09 am Hello, While clearing out my severely blocked weep holes (caked with mud and mortar debris), I have accidentally poked a tiny hole in the material that is on the other end of one of the holes. I think the material could be the flashing. I used a number of items to prod, dig, and scrape, and it was the end of a wire hangar that made a hole. The hole is small, just the diameter of a hangar wire. I don't know how deep it goes, just that the surface of the material now has a puncture. Obviously, access is very limited being such a small weep hole entrance, and I would rather not have to go to drastic measures like removing the surround bricks. Cheers!
