Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Jul 27, 2021 11:23 am Hi guys, I've just moved into a new place, and while we were removing the old laminate flooring in the master bedroom to get ready for carpeting, we discovered evidence of water damage on the bottom of the door frame leading to the en suite. Fortunately it seems like the damage was done a long time ago and the issue now solved (the wall directly behind the shower taps looks to have been cut open and then re plastered, hopefully to access and fix the leak). I have scrapped away most of the loose rot and old sealant leaving what you see now in the images below.
