Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Oct 26, 2020 8:29 pm I have a set of bifold doors that have stopped rolling, looks like there is some bowing of the floor track in the middle which is pushing the middle doors up and wedging them against the top track. I thought initially a problem with the track becoming warped but it’s clear it’s a stump underneath pushing upwards enough to affect the tracking of the bifolds (they do not have much clearance anyway). Doors were professionally installed four years ago and were flush back then. I live in Newport, inner west Melbourne, less than five km from beach & a lot of clay soil. I figure it’s some pressure affecting just that stump, and not by much. But doors can not operate & no way to adjust. I’ve seen these adjustable stumps that you can manually adjust up & down. If I get someone in to adjust the stump, even just drop the bearer, it might be it needs further adjusting in the future if the stump continues to push up. Concrete stump, installed 2000. Any recommendations for melbourne based restumper that would know how to help? I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 35705 It's all about wireless, self install now.
