Fencing question

Hi i have a really silly question to ask...

bought a rear block and fence needs replacing on 1 side (boundary with other block on the back)
should i replace the fencing before construction of my new home starts?

im just afraid that the fences may be damaged during construction.
however, if i do it after, access would be slightly more challenginer.

please help.

I would have the fencing quotes and agreement with your neighbour (who I assume is paying half) all signed up and ready to go once your builder has finished, because the fence is bound to get damaged.
