It is useful knowledge but as business often goes...they will usually attempt to "talk-up" their own product a fair bit. I just hoped that someone on this forum who has had first hand experience with using this product could give me some advice as to its suitablility and effectiveness. I have heard that it's a good product but maybe I don't need it for this job and something else would suit. anyway, thanks for responding, kind regards, camelia Re: Emerclad exterior paint 4Jun 28, 2011 3:47 pm emerclad is what u are looking for it does what it says it does waterproof paint its bullet proof but the actual finish is not the best u will need a proffesional to paint because it leaves lots of roller marks and chatter marks we are currently painting a building 2000sqm and its that bad we had to paint taubmans endure over it to cover and even then., it wasnt working goodluck Re: Emerclad exterior paint 5Jul 14, 2012 3:19 pm Hello, just came across this post and wondered how you got on with Emerclad. Our house was painted with Emerclad 12 years ago as a waterproof coating over sandstock bricks that acted like a sponge. It has worked very well and continues to do so. However, it does need to be applied professionally as stated by another person.
