I have been in my new home a year and the bedroom door has already come away from the hinges.. literally

I first noticed trouble when i had trouble closing the door . I Tightened the screws on some of the hinges but a few of the screws just turned without tightening.
PD are arranging someone to come out and refit the door which is good ,problem solved
but wondering what is the correct method to rehang the door so the screws wont come loose again. My way of thinking is the problem may
recurr if the screws are rescrewed into bare wood ( like they where originally )
Does anything need to be inserted into the screw holes to keep the screws in place . a friend told me to insert a match stick into the screw holes
