Does anyone have a tip for getting rid of possums? We have blocked off all areas that were potential problems & the buggers still manage to find their way in to the roof area....... [/quote
If you find one let me know please!
I have one that sleeps in roof of my laundry. Thank goodness it's a separate laundry, but they create havoc. The orange and apple trees have been devoured with big chunks bitten out of the fruit. He wanders around at night hissing....they are very loud and sounds scary! He poops all over the outside table and chairs, and has even fallen down our chimney! That was pretty scary with the noise and commotion he made! I had a cover over it...we have a 100yr old cottage and it gets draughty in winter. The next night he fell down again! Unbelievable! My son had to open the cover and let him out. I hid in the bedroom, like all good mums!!...he's an adult! Luckily Mr Possum must have learnt his lesson, no more chimney mishaps, but i want him GONE!
I know they are protected, i really couldn't kill him, but if i caught him, maybe the Council or whoever would relocate him. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
