If it's a bit of the styrofoam that has broken off during the installation of the pods and then when the concrete has been poured it's floated up but been troweled in its no big deal. On the other hand if what you can see is actually part of an entire pod that has lifted or has no cover over it then it's a big problem. Try digging the foam out. If it's just a small bit encased in concrete then it's no big deal and can be patched. If you stick a screwdriver into and it keeps pushing in like you have actually got a whole pod at the surface then you have a big issue and I'd be getting it inspected. Thanks heaps, really appreciate the advice. He dug the foam out with wire and both chips were foam the had broken off and floated to the surface. I verified this. Thank god. Thanks again. Oh no!
