Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Feb 28, 2015 9:43 am Last week the heavy Brisbane rains caused some leaking in a section of roof due to a poor tile clip. The paper facing on the plaster sheets at the join directly below the leak has peeled away. The joint is not on a rafter but had been back blocked when installed. Is there a good and reliable way to repair this without cutting away the sheeting and replacing it with a patch. I have some photo's but it seems I can't attach any. Anyway, the plasterboard paper facing has peeled back from the join, either side of the join. The overall length of the peeled back section is approximately 500mm long. Any ideas / recommendations ?
