Yeah the sales lady basically said they couldn’t do anything unless it was even/level, and I had to either get a handyman to do something or do it myself and then they could come back and quote/install. My parents place had them fitted around 15 years ago and I'm pretty sure they were just taperd to suit the angle. recently just had some of them replaced with ziptrack styles blinds and again no problem.
