Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Mar 02, 2020 2:25 pm Hi all, I want to convert my patio shade sail into a polycarbonate roof sometime in the future so that it is a little more sheltered from the rain. My current patio is built such that there is a gap in-between the wood frame and the house gutters. Any ideas on how I might seal the gap? You'll want to install some grading battens to the rafter to out fall on the roof sheets. So you may start with a 140mm batten and finish with a 45mm batten at the bottom end. Once you line the roofing with the polycarbonate roofing. Get some custom flashings folded up so they go over the polycarbonate and into the gutter to seal that gap. If it doesn't make sense I can do a quick sketch. MC Registered Building - Always happy to help where I can and simply loves the game. DM me if you need help in VIC. Please see the attached current floorplan. Need suggestions on what's the best way to do… 0 7338 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16107 |
